Rugby Fever

To translate for those who don't speak this particular brand of Afrikaans:
Don't worry dear, I'm at the rugby.
I will bring the bread, milk & worldcup home next week.

  • I think that the bread and milk ended up being boerewors and beer!

  • Congrats! I haven't got a clue about rugby, or cricket, but it always makes me laugh to see the english losing in games they taught the world how to play.

  • Well thanx my Greek friend, celebrations are still continuing here.
A little of of English humility is always good to see.

  • There has been a fair amount of whingeing from Poms here about England losing & having their try disallowed (like it was a try in the first place???) but when told that even with an additional 7 points, we STILL beat them, the whingeing fades into the next pint of beer!
