By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 11:19

  • um...i have no words.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 20/11/06 12:01

  • Jam, if chocolate's not your thing I'm sure you could replace it with jam.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 12:11

  • Chocolate's everyone's thing. I LOVE chocolate!

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 12:35

  • Champs - I know you like eating it, but would you wear it?

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 12:52

  • Ja, but I like eating it plain. I am not too interested in mixing it with exotic flavours. ...I've enjoyed wearing it, yes. :)

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 13:01

  • well, dip me in choclate and feed me to the lesbians!

By Blogger Katie Possum, at 20/11/06 13:04

  • Champs & Kate - with or without sprinkles?

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 13:12

  • With a cherry on top!

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 13:35

  • Though you didn't like cherries??

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 13:39

  • I wasn't talking about me! Well I was, but I also wasn't. ...Argh. I'm not the one who has to eat the cherry.

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 13:43

  • Would the girl who was snorting your hair like to eat the cherry?

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 14:07

  • She would actually. But she will never manage to get me THAT drunk! One has to maintain their standards here, and while she is uber-hot, I just don't take to hair sniffing people.

[Pls note that all hair of Champer's being spoke about here, is in referal to the hair on top of Champer's head!]

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 14:15

  • ..and for a brief mment there I was wondering about your sahving habits.

    Read your comment and realised:
'she started taking deep breathes in of my hair, to the confused looks of friends & strangers'

    could be so miscontrued.
You reclining, spread-eagled on the stands with lesbo friend doing a bit of scratch & sniff.

    It's just not cricket.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 14:28

  • I'm a sprinkles girl personally!

By Blogger Katie Possum, at 20/11/06 14:28

  • OK, we're feeding Kate to the uber-hot lesbian hair sniffer.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 14:37

  • Rev, I would never expect anything but a bit of misconstruing from you!

No, I definitely batted that poor girl. She was too far in left field. I'm more for a man who knows how to bowl his googlies about, straight down the pitch and all.

Excellent news about Kate. Kate don't shave, but do be sure to use some nice apple/ chocolate shampoo.

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 14:46

  • Sounds like you had her stumped.

Looking for a man who knows how to swing his willow.
Of course he would need to be fully padded as you wouldn't play unprotected cricket, now would you.

I suspect you're hoping that he hits you for 6 off every ball of the over. We do so like high scoring games.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 14:52

  • Rev - he definitely better enter my oval fully padded! Otherwise I'd have to assume he is not much of a team player.

Only delivering within the crease would definitely make it a boring innings. A good player is always sure to knock at least a few out of the boundary!

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 15:32

  • Be very careful of those pinch hitters.
Though they get sent in to bat, expecting to unleash a torrent, they more often that not get run out very early in the innings.

Best you find an established batsman who is very good at his stroke play or an all rounder who also knows how to get you to play at his balls.

Be sure to keep the pitch trimmed and in to condition as it may provide a platform for a high scoring game.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 15:45

  • Rev, I'll tell you what, I'll set you up as 3rd umpire, and should we find that play is becoming uncertain with too much fast bowling & not enough spinners and follow throughs, we'll call you in for some second opions.

    Howzat work for you?

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 16:20

  • 3rd umpire...umm.

Sounds like there'll be cameras, slow motion replays and a huge screen for all the spectators to see whether he was in the crease when you pulled out the middle stump???

If your play is exciting the crowd may even do the Mexican Wave.
(Unfortunately the closest we'll get to Cancun right now)

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 16:28

  • Unfortunately for the eager spectators, play has been called off due to weather delays. The pitch has become unplayable for now due to prolonged drought. The groundkeeper was hoping the visible clouds meant impending showers, but for now, all appears dry on the homefront.

The covers will remain on for now. And players of the opposing team have been forced to test their batting for themselves in the practice nets.

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 17:02

  • It is in fact quite sad when the groundkeeper is unable to keep their pitch in a playable condition resulting in international test matches being moved to a different venue.
(The anticipated friendly against the visiting French side will have to be cancelled)

The pitch will probably still be playable, but only for use by domestic club sides whos bowler prefer bowling bouchers by banging the ball down hard against the dry pitch, resulting in the desired lift.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 17:16

  • Unfortunately the series against the french has already been delayed due to prior commitments in European tournaments.

Owners of the grounds are demanding that it be restricted to only professional play, as possible amateur club league games might further increase drought as well as disinterest important season ticket holders.

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 17:29

  • The local club members are encouraged to move their league games to the practice pitch located right behind the main oval.

While this venue is not large enough to support district matches, it does help the young up-and-cumming players to ensure that there cover driving stays in the slot.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 17:44

  • Irrate owners of the grounds have been quoted in saying, "Not a chance in hell!!"

This practice pitch was not intended or designed for full matches, whether practice or otherwise. If one of the five top batters wishes to knock about a bit before a match then all the more better for his game, but any more players in this area & it will suffer too much strain, and players may be banned from any use of the entire stadium!

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 17:49

  • (And so the commenting does a full circle and we land back on the top of...chocolate cake! Ak!)

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 20/11/06 17:50

  • It has been anounced that this oval will be turned into a bowling green. The sport is much gentler on the pitch where the players kneel down to adress the ball.
Player have been known to kiss the pitch after a really good roll of the ball.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 20/11/06 18:00

  • can always rely on you for some late night humour after a crazy monday :) love this!

By Blogger Carlz, at 20/11/06 22:19

  • Erm...wish i was a lesbian?
This is Insane Insomniac - plugging my little sisters new blog.
Hate me for it, but go read it. I'm linking you, if you don't mind.

By Blogger Unknown, at 21/11/06 12:21

  • Bowls has also been a preferable sport, in my opinion!

Lollipop....not a problem at all...have you met Kate, she is wishing the same thing. Rev, I think you have just initiated a interblog set up. Congrats! I wonder how they will reward you.

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 21/11/06 13:32

  • How to reward Rev?
Since I'm the 3rd Umpire, please send video footage or webcan link.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 21/11/06 14:29

  • You might have to discuss that with the two girls involved. I am not sure if they are cricket or bowls players.

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 21/11/06 15:15

  • Well, they're both ball games so we can't be far off the mark ;)

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 21/11/06 15:29

  • one wouldnt want to deliver too much of a slow ball... that could result in a great blow, straight through the covers...

By Blogger Urk, at 21/11/06 15:52

  • Might be fun watching soemone diving through the covers.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 21/11/06 15:55

  • No Rev, one hopes to never be off the mark in such matters!

And as for you considering it being fun to watch someone dive through the covers...that's why we made you 3rd umpire!

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 21/11/06 16:06

  • spending too much time diving on the pitch could result in nasty burns on the knees

By Blogger Urk, at 21/11/06 16:08

  • Grass burn is just part of the game.

By Blogger Revolving Credit, at 21/11/06 16:33

  • but it leaves a nasty stain

By Blogger Urk, at 21/11/06 17:10

  • Before even not laughing at the talk ("Oh yes, oh yes, mmmm, yeah, oooo") how do people even manage to type AND keep up the convo between them?!?! That takes a lot of one handed typing.

So safest AND most practical way would have to be hands-free cell phone kit.

Now there's a thought for you as you guys drive home this evening!

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 21/11/06 17:12

  • Sorry. Wrong blog popped up apparently as I started a comment. Or it is getting confused through all this heat and bother!

Rev, where is that damn trash can icon for me to trash my own comments?!?!

By Blogger Champagne Heathen, at 21/11/06 17:14

  • Beeyaydiful. Thanks for the idea Reverend! :)

By Blogger Peas on Toast, at 22/11/06 11:46

By Blogger Heartwarmer, at 22/11/06 12:25
